Lulworth Responders have a new vehicle

After a lot of research and checking the market for a replacement responder vehicle, we managed to find a replacement vehicle, but it was in Derby. With the help of donations from Wareham Rotary (£1,500), West Lulworth Parish Council (£1000), Wool Parish Council (£1000) and funds held from the donations received from the late Ruth Hewitt who use to raise money with her friends at Durdle Door. A donation received from the family of the late Pam Powis we were able to go and purchase the vehicle.

The vehicle arrived late September and we have since had the responder livery installed on it. This has thankfully been organised by South Western Ambulance.

The vehicle is not quite finished as a dedication widow is to be added on both sides, but it has already seen service on more than one occasion. We thank everyone who has made it possible.

We received two donations from the East Lulworth Keep Fat Club, which made it possible for us to purchase a new more up to date Sat Nav which can be invaluable in helping us find some of the addresses we go to. East Lulworth Keep Fat Club has now stopped. We thank them for thinking of us.

Our old Toyota Rav 4 which served us well has now moved on to a new life in Devon.
