Our Friends at Durdle Door

Ruth, with her helpers hold a bric a brac stall outside her caravan every Saturday morning, weather permitting. She also has a tombola every so often in the Man O' War Club. Over the years Ruth has raised money for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, and recently us. Ruth decided that in 2010 she would reduce what she sold and run the stall solely for Lulworth Responders. At the end of the season we received a cheque from her for the fantastic amount of £2000. We have decided that this amount of money should be kept to go towards a replacement vehicle when we need it. Our current vehicle is fine at the moment although it is 10 years old, it has less than 23000 miles on the clock, but at some stage it will need replacing and this gives us a good start towards saving money for its replacement.

A big thank you to Ruth and her helpers from Lulworth First Responders

Ruth has continued to support us in 2011 and along with the raffle which was organised by Durdle Door Park we were very fortunate to receive another £2000 from Ruth and her helpers. A very big thank you from Lulworth First Responders for all your wonderful efforts.

Unfortunately Ruth will not be able to continue with her stall in 2012, if there is anyone out there that would like to offer a few hours on a Saturday morning during the summer, weather permitting, please contact us through the site.
